Modular EMBA
The Modular EMBA (MEMBA) offers executives from all over the world the chance to earn a top-ranked EMBA degree without changing residence or leaving a challenging career, thus allowing working executives to earn the same widely-known and respected MBA as their counterparts in our other programs. The program attracts Atlanta executives, as well as students from as far away as Hungary, Finland and Guatemala and as close as Boston, Miami and New York City.

On-Campus Residencies
MEMBA participants attend eight week-long (Sunday – Saturday) learning modules in Atlanta, along with a one-week International Colloquium. On-campus classes are held at the state-of-the-art Goizueta Business School building, located on Emory’s campus just 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 30 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
While on campus, if you choose the residency option, you may stay at the Emory Conference Center.
Distance Learning
Distance learning comprises 30 percent of a MEMBA's course study. This course material is delivered online between each residency, which are. spaced approximately every 10 – 12 weeks. During this time you will keep in touch with professors and classmates via distributed learning technology, completing individual and team assignments. Distance learning could include:
- Multimedia lectures
- Team case of individual write-ups
- Blackboard discussions
- Interactive study lessons
- Simulations
