GMAT Waiver Policy
The Executive MBA Program at Emory University's Goizueta Business School is a quantitatively rigorous experience. It is important that the admissions team is able to fully assess your background in order to prepare you for success in the program. We encourage candidates to apply for the GMAT/GRE Waiver as one of the first steps in the application process.
In evaluating the waiver decision, many factors are considered including prior academic coursework and grades (specifically quantitative coursework), the rigor of the academic institution(s), current job responsibilities, and professional certifications. Please note that no GMAT/GRE waiver is automatic and an approved GMAT/GRE Waiver application does not guarantee later acceptance into the program.
To apply for the GMAT or GRE waiver, candidates will need to submit the following items:
- Scanned copies of all college or university transcripts (official or unofficial are acceptable)
- A current and complete resume or CV
- A one-page, written request outlining quantitative coursework and professional responsibilities and quantitative-based certifications. If the language used in your transcripts is not English, they will need to be translated through a reputable translation agency prior to submission and sent directly to Goizueta Business School using the address below.
- Please scan and submit all three items via email to Larisa Epshteyn.
If you are ordering transcripts directly from a school, please send to the following address via an expedited service (for tracking purposes). These official copies will be used for the GMAT/GRE Waiver Application and for your program application.Executive MBA Admissions Attn: Larisa Epshteyn Goizueta Business School Emory University 1300 Clifton Road, Suite W-288 Atlanta, GA 30322
Upon a positive decision for the GMAT/GRE Waiver application, prospective candidates will be granted access to several online preparatory classes. Specific courses are assigned at the time of admission to the Emory EMBA Program and must be completed before the first day of class.
