BUS 630 - Industry and Competitor Analysis

The broad focus of the course is on strategic management in uncertain and turbulent environments. Managers often throw up their hands and argue that planning isn't useful when the landscape is shifting. However, with the right set of tools, strategic management can have an even greater impact in this setting. The course emphasizes strategy formulation under uncertainty, corporate/multi-business strategy and competitive interaction.
