BUS 620 - Advanced Corporate Finance

Significant contemporary issues in corporate finance are considered, including determination of optimal dividend policy and capital structure, investment decisions under uncertainty, mergers and acquisitions, principal-agency problems, and the application of investment theory to corporate finance problems. Students use cases to learn to apply and solve complex business problems. Focus on analyzing the characteristics of capital markets and instruments, the risk-return trade-off and application of corporate risk management strategies to financial decision-making.
