Business Intelligence Corner: New Factiva Interface Makes Searching Easy at the Goizueta Business Library

Searching Factiva just got easier with their new visual interface. After offering Search 2.0 for several months, Factiva has updated the search homepage to incorporate features from 2.0 with no additional click necessary.

Searching by keyword now displays a "Discovery Panel" in the left nav bar. This lets you visually identify:
• the most frequently cited companies and industries
• word clouds of key words and news clusters
• subjects you may wish to narrow your search by
• newspapers and journals most frequently offering coverage

Along with print media, you can search for web news, pictures and multimedia results.

Looking for your favorite search limits? Expand "more options" to narrow your results by relevance.

Remember, Goizueta alumni have free access to both Factiva and EIU via the Library's Services to Alumni page.
