Full-Time MBA
Company Presentations
A presentation to MBA candidates prior to your interview dates gives you the chance to increase your brand awareness and share information about your employment opportunities and position requirement. These can be held on campus or virtually.
To schedule a company presentation, you may click on this link and fill out our company presentation form, or contact your Goizueta CMC account manager directly.
Office Hours
For one-on-one or small group communication with interested students, many companies schedule office hours at Goizueta. This gives students an opportunity to conduct informational interviews with company representatives.
To schedule office hours, please email RecruitMBA@bus.emory.edu or contact your Goizueta CMC account manager.
Coffee Chats
To get to know students in a small group setting, companies may choose to schedule coffee chats. These can be open to any interested students or by invitation only as selected by the company. Company reps and selected or interested students will gather for coffee in one of the small group gathering areas around campus, such as the Commons area, to exchange information about each other and get to know more about one another in a semi-formal environment.
To schedule a coffee chat, please email your request to RecruitMBA@bus.emory.edu or contact your Goizueta CMC account manager
Corporate Visits (TREKS)
The Career Management Center and student clubs host TREKs in Atlanta, New York, San Francisco and Chicago in different functional areas. During these TREKs, approximately 100 first-year students concentrating in Finance, General Management, Healthcare, Marketing and Technology will visit the participating companies to learn more about the industry, company and internship opportunities. Activities during visits are varied and can include information sessions with company representatives, case studies, site tours or panel discussions.
To be part of our next trek, please email your request to RecruitMBA@bus.emory.edu
Goizueta Career Connection
Goizueta Career Connection (GCC) is our annual career exploration and networking event. This event consists of company-sponsored club lunches and a keynote address, followed by an afternoon of career exploration in the form of experiential learning. First and second year MBAs attend Interactive Learning Modules (ILMs) in two of the following functions/industries: Marketing, Finance/Banking, Real Estate, Consulting/Strategy, Healthcare, and General Management. Sponsoring companies will facilitate the ILMs and provide students with an opportunity to learn firsthand the process of managing a real business issue using that company’s frameworks and methodologies for solving problems. The ILMs are typically followed by an evening of networking and fun where over 400 students, alumni, and business partners will be able to make connections with current and future business leaders.
If you are interested in sponsoring one of these events, please email your request to RecruitMBA@bus.emory.edu.
Executive in Residence
Several experienced professionals volunteer their time and expertise as advisors to our students through individual half-day or full-day sessions on campus. The individual coaching sessions provide students with valuable insights on topics such as career paths, gaining employment and industry specific knowledge. By bringing this expertise in-house, we are able to increase the breadth of the Goizueta community and involve corporate executives on a more intimate level with students. Recent participants have come from companies such as Accenture, The Coca-Cola Company, Deloitte, The Lone Star Funds and Outback Steakhouse International.
If you are interested in being a part of this program, please email RecruitMBA@bus.emory.edu.
Multi Company Networking Events
Several times throughout the year, the CMC provides opportunities for students from all of our programs to get together and network with representatives from many companies in an informal setting. Past events have included a night at a local restaurant in Midtown Atlanta and a casual event with drinks and hors d’oeuvres on campus.
If you are interested in participating in such an event, please email your request to RecruitMBA@bus.emory.edu.
Professional Development Panels
Throughout the fall and spring semesters we host several panels designed to help students learn more about a host of professional development topics. Company representatives share their expertise with students on topics such as how to prepare for diversity conferences, how to engage with Alumni, how to market your brand to your target employers, etc.
If you are interested in participating on a panel with us, please email your request to Kristen_Niarchos@bus.emory.edu.
Sponsor Club Events
Goizueta has many student-run professional clubs that sponsor panel discussions, topical programs and other activities and events. These provide a perfect venue for you to interact directly with our students. To contact a leader of a student club about career-related events, please see detailed club descriptions and the contact information of the respective club leaders here.
Kegs
Thursday evenings in the fall students gather in the Commons for time to relax and get to know their fellow students and alumni better. Companies are encouraged to sponsor such events as an easy way to get to know students in a more informal setting.
If you are interested in sponsoring a keg night, please email your request to RecruitMBA@bus.emory.edu or contact your Goizueta CMC account manager.
