I attended a national conference where I met an Emory alum who was able to connect me with the marketing manager at Frito-Lay.  Through that introduction, I was able to get added to the next day’s interview schedule and ultimately land the internship that summer.  Because Emory’s network is so engaged, those kinds of important connections happen every day.
