My most rewarding experience has been mentoring students interested in pursuing Investment Banking career. In my second year, after having experienced the Investment Banking recruiting process, I felt well equipped to help the incoming class. A group of us did one-on-one sessions on the Investment Banking recruiting process, internship and desired qualities of an Associate. I think that mentoring Goizueta students on potential career choices and guiding them through the process are some of the most important contributions that we can make. It also further stresses the importance of relationship making in banking. In my job search, I went to every CMC Banking presentation and made many contacts well before the recruiting process began, which helped me develop an informal network. I added to this a formal network developed on the Investment Banking NYC Trek, and secured interviews through continuous interaction with them.
