Clubs

  • Goizueta Marketing Association (GMA): Goal to inform, educate, and prepare members for future careers in marketing, while developing long-term relationships with the corporate community.
  • Goizueta Marketing Strategy Consultancy (GMSC): Both a course and a student-led club that partners students with organizations on actual business projects to create valuable and strategic solutions. GMSC teams have been successfully providing value-added recommendations to their clients for more 20 years. 
  • Goizueta Sports Media & Entertainment Association (SMEA): Represents students interested in careers in Film, Television, Music, Publishing, Sports Management, Fashion and Multimedia.  SMEA organizes speakers, interviewing workshops, trips to Atlanta and New York companies of interest and entertainment-related social events at the business school.

Career Events/Activities

Often the best way to get to know a company or a discipline is to see it firsthand.  In addition to the companies that come on campus to interact with Goizueta students, our Career Management Center increases student exposure to various marketing areas by visiting companies onsite through career treks.  Last year the CMC hosted treks in Atlanta and to New York City to visit the following companies:

  • New York City –American Express, Bayer, Colgate-Palmolive, Interbrand, Madison Square Garden, Mindshare, NBC Studios, Unilever .
  • Atlanta –  Newell Rubbermaid, Cox Communications, InterContinental Hotel Group and The Coca-Cola Company

Alumni Events

Connecting students to alumni in marketing is a critical part of our efforts to help individuals identify and achieve their career goals.  Our Alumni Relations team manages more than 10 alumni groups, called affinity groups, including a national affinity group in marketing called The Goizueta Alumni in Marketing Group
