Mylle Mangum, 70C

Chairman and CEO, IBT Holdings

So many of Mylle Mangum’s relatives have attended Emory University that she jokingly refers to it as “her family’s school.” Since graduating from Emory College in 1970, Mylle’s career has been one success story after another. Her company, IBT Holdings is experiencing tremendous growth, and despite her numerous commitments, she still dedicates her time and invests in the school that she says gave her so much.

Mylle is Chairman and CEO of IBT Holdings, the parent company of IBT Enterprises, Design Build Concepts and International Banking Technologies. Together, the companies offer the most complete continuum of design and construction services in the financial services industry. Prior to joining IBT in 2003, Mylle was CEO of both True Marketing Services, which focused on consolidating marketing services companies, and MMS Incentives, a private equity company involved in developing and implementing marketing and loyalty programs. She was also president of Global Payment Systems and senior vice president of strategic planning and expense management for Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Mylle was the first president of BellSouth International. Additionally, Mylle has held senior management positions with Holiday Inn Worldwide and General Electric Company.

Mylle is a member of numerous boards of directors of public companies and is past-president of the Committee of 200, an organization of top U.S. and international businesswomen. Mylle was also WIT's 2004 Woman of the Year in Technology and one of Catalyst's Magazine's Top 25 Entrepreneurs in Atlanta in 2007.

It was during her tenure as President of BellSouth International that Mylle became engaged with Goizueta Business School, and found the school to be a great resource on many levels, especially as her career moved in a more entrepreneurial direction. Former Dean of Goizueta Business School, Tom Robertson invited Mylle to join the Goizueta Advisory Board at its inception and the rest is history. She was the inaugural speaker for the Executive Women of Goizueta annual conference, has addressed numerous classes and has hired Goizueta students. "Goizueta has the best and the brightest students. When I speak to the classes, I always come away having learned something."

The majority of Mylle’s financial support has been to the Business Fund for Excellence, Goizueta’s Annual Fund. “I want my support to go where it is most helpful and the Dean at Goizueta knows what the critical needs are. I was fortunate to attend Emory and am thankful for the knowledge that I gained. When you give something back, you gain back so much more both personally and professionally. There are just so many ways to get involved.”

We hope that you will also consider investing in Goizueta Business School. Click here for more information.
