SE@G frequently convenes the Emory and broader Atlanta community for social-sector focused panel discussions and various other events throughout the year.
Non-Profit Panel Series
Since 2014, SE@G has inspired dialogue and exposed students, alums and leaders from the community to top management topics driving change in the nonprofit sector today through the Nonprofit Panels Series. The series features four panels each year hosted at the Goizueta Business School. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. Past panel topics have included The Importance of Earned Income to Support Mission, Collective Impact: What it is (and is not), Perspectives on the World of Impact Investing, and State of the Sector: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities.
Join us for our next panel, Women and Leadership in the Arts: A Spotlight on Current Perspectives, on Thursday, February 16, at 6:00 pm.
Taking it to the Farm Dinner
In conjunction with the 2016 Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) conference that was hosted in Atlanta, SE@G brought together more than 200 guests for our Taking it to the Farm event in April 2016. This dinner raised awareness about the economic circumstances of local and global farmers, while raising $9,380 for a collaboration between GBS students and Georgia Organics to research ways to allow Georgia farmers to afford health and disability insurance. Check back here for updates on dates / times for our next Farm Dinner.
