Biography

Klaas joined the Goizueta Business School in 2002. His research interests include investment management, financial econometrics and venture capital. Klaas received his Ph.D. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has a M.A. in Economics from Brown University, a M.Sc. in Econometrics from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, and a Diploma in Japanese language and business studies from Leiden University, The Netherlands. Klaas also received the Trefftz Award for Best Student Paper at the Western Finance Association Meetings, 2002. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., Klaas was a financial analyst at Fuji Bank in Japan and Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong.
